Day 5

Departure: 9am, direction: Chile! We travel all the Lumabia Canyon to the border, where there is a simple post and no road to go “on the other side”. But there is an ancestral trail taken by the Andean people, without nationality but, you will see, an identical identity. We have lunch with don Ruben and we will sleep tonight in the solitude of the Andean Cordillera, in a corner of our Chilean friend’s campo Don Arcario, on the butte called “las Yeguas” (the mares), a breathtaking view surrounded by mountain peaks, lined with flowery valleys!
