Day 5

This morning we have no tent to take down, no mules to load: holidays for everyone! We put swimming suits and pic-nic in our saddlebags and dash off to the surprise of the day: the laguna Lauquen Mallin. We spend the day there, 2000m high, 2 km away from the Chilean border, surrounded by birds, fishes, wild herds, you will certainly not want to leave! However we need to do so as tonight; we prepare empanadas! Galopping on the way back!
