Day 7

Shortly after 10am and especially after a delicious chupilca, we get on the horses and descend to the track of the Navarette lagoon. The glare is such that we enjoy a half day of rest in front of the water and if the weather is nice in the turquoise water, under the cries of seagulls, near the babbling of water hens, in the middle of rainbow trout. We try to catch some for dinner, if we arrive empty-handed at Don Rufino’s campo, he will mock our lack of skill. It is true that it takes the hand to launch the line with a tin can!
