All the SOLIECOL Rider's feedbacks

The expression of gratitude from Those who came for a ride by our side motivates us more and more. We deeply thank all these sincere and smiling riders for sharing with us in being part of this wonderful project.
Here are their testimonies!

Philippe, March

Dear Lina, after a month spent in your wonderful world, it will not be easy to find the right words to express my feelings and my gratitude. I can at first easily comment on the organization of the expeditions: perfect, effective, showing a great command of the subject. Your alter ego Ceferino is a monster of kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity coupled with an exceptional guide. Your horses, fiery and docile at the same time, are endearing travel companions. Your gaucho friends met on the road, with a touching shyness, will be for me and for a long time crossroads of precious paths. What about these trips to the mountains and the stars, the wind of freedom that accompanies each step, simply human moments of a rare intensity that filled my eyes and heart of a happiness difficult to express in precise and sweet words… Maybe just one: thanks!
Thank you for your contagious good mood, for your ethnological comments, for your kindness towards our “bad-riders” mistakes and your remarkable gastronomy in precarious conditions. Thank you very much for this wonderful immersion in this authentic world, far away from the chaos of the cities. May your projects move forward quickly so that Soliecol, this beautiful movement of cooperation remains for a long time a reference for the Gauchos of Patagonia.
Long and sweet life to you, that the giants Domuyo and Tromen watch over your exceptional destiny.

Jean Marc and Frederique, March

Thank you for making possible our dream of riding in Patagonia, despite our lack of equestrian skills! We loved everything, the landscapes, the atmosphere, our traveling companions and the Gauchos of course, what beautiful people! We really hope that this amazing adventure continues for a long time for you, thank you for your availability, your good mood, your organization… not to mention the gastronomy! Everything was perfect, only great experiences and great firsts! A loving thought for our friends Ceferino, Lauro, José and Nestor. A dream come true, it must endure and we will keep these memories with great emotion for a very long time.

Mélanie, March

Where do I start ? People, horses, landscapes, food, chupilca !!! Everything was perfect. The horse ride is different every day , with surprises, the circuit is very well done and all the team is great. But I want to share more than that here: my emotion. Riding my horse, as I was looking at the landscape and I mean as I was really looking around me, with my heart, with my entire body, a wave of emotion came over me and then tears (hidden under my sunglasses!). These moments where I feel all my person being connected to nature are a gift, a benediction. Thank you because you gave me more than I was looking for, thank you for your professionnalism but above all for your heart and your wonderful energy.
Ceferino gives off such kindness, wisdom and gentleness, he’s got a beautiful soul and I regret that I couldn’t communicate with him because of my spanish but here I charge you to thank him from the bottom of my heart. Thank to you Elsilina, your enthusiasm and your dynamism bring a lot to the Gauchos I’m sure about it. It feels good to meet people like you, real, entire, passionate, spontaneous, funny…someone who find her place on earth. To show it’s not easy, but when you want you can. You made choices and now you live your life, the one you have created. Thank to the Soliecol families for their hospitality and for everything we shared, you all are a magnificient example. THANK YOU!

Pauline, March

Everywhere there is a new crest which is revealed. While impatience urged us to speed up, it’s finally wonder which nourrished us, peacefully, slowly. There was this little music which came to my mind: BELLE, it’s a word invented for her! Beautiful and wild breakaway, for the hearth and the entire soul: the wonderful complicity between Lina and Ceferino made it possible. Thank you and hug!

Yann, March

I arrived in Chos Malal for a simple horse ride, I leave it after receiving a great life lesson. Besides the spectacular landscapes we went through, every day we met patagonian Gauchos, humble and beautiful people with a lot of habilities. They don’t have a lot but I feel like it was much more. So thanks to Naranja for her spirit and safety. Thanks to Ceferino for guiding us through this amazing land, for his kindness and attentions. At least thank you Elsilina, you made it possible. I hope I’ll see you again!

Michel, February

My friend Helena told me about Soliecol, I wasn’t disappointed! 12 days in complete autonomy and logoff from our society, it helps to put a lot of things in perspective and highlights the fundamental qualities of our guides life: humility, union with nature, solidarity, kindness. Lina, Ceferino, José and Valentin never have a rest to listen, to help, to feed us (and a wonderful way!). Thanks to us and of course Elsilina for the discovery of their lives, their culture but also their problems. And what is to say about this nature which surprises us at the top of each canyon! I don’t know if it’s the best horse ride I ever did because they are hardly comparable, but I’m sure that I will have wonderful memories of this one forever. Thank you again to you 4, keep bringing life in this paradise, I know you have the desire and the bravery to succeed. Muchas gracias!

Hélène, February

All things come in threes, this time Lina you did better inviting us for 12 days of freedom and dreams. I realize the work it has been to prepare and design this circuit. Without the right degree, you are still the biggest professional I have met in my large experience. Your willpower will always be stronger than obstacles in front of you. Your Gauchos’ team is still exceptionnal. A big thank you to José for his empanadas cooking lesson under the stars, thank you to Ceferino and Valentin for their vigilance. As long as there are Gauchos, barbecue, rivers to swim and to fish, we will come back to visit you in Patagonia. Thank you all!

Jean-Pierre, February

It is the third horse ride with our friends Gauchos Ceferino, José, Valentin and Elsilina – how nice to meet them again, to share riding days : they made it magical! A big thank you to Jose who generously lent me his brave mule. Congratulation to Ceferino for the horseshoe’s quality, I’m very proud to help him in this adventure. As for Valentin, be careful, he is a feroce competitor to win candies playing at dice! If someone would have told me – after watching a film which gave me the idea – that I would have the chance to meet these Gauchos and canter next to their horses, I would’nt have believed it. Thank you for everything.

Marianne, February

Once again thank you for this beautiful trip, a variety of infinite landscapes, full of beautiful “aquatic” sites to satisfy the frog that I am! The horses are great, very attentive, and gauchos always generous and serious and professional. We met this time Valentin, full of humor and mischief, and Elsi is always full of ideas to vary the menus “outdoors”, her availability is foolproof to make the campo life easier. It was my second Soliecol’s experience, again unforgettable. Abrazos!

Jean-François, February

During these twelve days around the Domuyo we discovered fantastic landscapes, riding from valleys to valleys, through passes. We fully enjoy our days combining horses, contemplations and swimming in the torrents or in the hot water pools. Thanks to Gauchos and Elsilina for their flawless organization!

Bertrand, January

After a first horseride in 2015, Volcanic Immersion, sensational, I returned to the country of my dreams, Patagonia, this time to discover Nature without Borders. Fantastic horse riding, pure emotions! Landscapes are as amazing as each other, some passages to vibrate! And then always the same welcome, a team to our little care! A big thank you to you Elsilina, what a pleasure to have met you, you have really satisfied my dreams of extraordinary hikes in this wonderful Patagonia. Thanks also to my friend Ceferino, exceptional guide!

Maud et Franck, january 2017

Argentina rimes with Patagonia, Patagonia with horses and horses with gauchos; thanks to Soliecol and Lina’s wonderful energy all these words came together in an incredible human adventure. So much care, attention and professionalism, but also great generosity have warmed our hearts, in particular the genuine exchanges with Ceferino and José. You’ll have your place from now on in our hearth and we would like to share with you one day in our island Tahiti, so far and near from you. Thank you for your humanity and good luck with your foundation!

Rica, january 2017

Muchas gracias de corazon, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for a wonderful holiday which reconnected me with nature, with the beauty of a simple life, with importance on trust, reliability, authenticity and passion for life and work. Lina is not only a great tour guide, she is a wonderful communicator and organiser with attention to detail and strive to perfection to make this horse trip and cultural experience to an unforgetable one and most authentic one. I loved the vast landscape, the dry ruggedness, the strenght and reliability of our horses (going pathes I would not have dared by myself), the delicious meals at lunch and dinner (lamb, goat, stews, asado…) and not to forget the invigorating mate and filling tortas fritas. Thanks for organising all this, to give me the chance to experience Gaucho life in its beauty, simplicity and hardship, yet pride in work, land and animals. It truely opened my eyes.
I especially admire how much Lina has achieve with her NGO, running projects left right and center with so many local families, improving their lives in a dignified and self-driven way. Everywhere she goes people stop and chat, thank her, encourage her to come by to admire the latest change or products created from material Lina organised or initiated. She manages to improve peoples livelihood in a sustainable way, fair and innovative. I bow to her passion and initiative and hope she will receive all the support needed and more happy faces around, as well as her dream that the Gaucho lifestyle is there to enjoy for generations to come.
I will not hesitate to recommend this horseback and Soliecol to anyone. Keep it going, you are bound to succeed Lina. And any client of yours will have the adventure of their lives if they come with an open heart and curiosity for their environment. Thanks again, provecho, salud !

Isabelle, february 2017

I came to ride a horse in Patagonia, I did a lot better than that: an inner journey with Elsilina and Ceferino who took care of us, prepared delicious meals in the morning, at lunch and dinner, sometimes in tuff conditions… It was THE horse ride of my life, especially when Lina lent me her horse Thorgal, a big and brave one which brought me trust again: I hadnt’ to do anything because it did the best by itself! I will never forget Thorgal, pleae Lina don’t be jealous! I only think about one thing now: come back! Thanks to the Gauchos José, Sergio, Pedro and of course to Ceferino «Mimoso», my devoted friend, to Noelia for my socks and her kindness when she welcomed us in her farm by night… Thank you Lina, without whom Soliecol wouldn’t exist, without her passion nothing could have be done… So keep fighting Lina, you’re done for that!
I hope I’ll see you all again and this time I will be equipped (I came as a real tourist…)!

François, february 2017

Here is an association which has the merit to demystify the Gaucho’s image for the northern hemisphere. The investment of all this people is strong and entire, Lina proves that a lot of bravery and time is needed in order to build this bridges of trust. I have wonderful memories from this horse riding, I have met engaging souls! Ceferino’s hope will bring the water back in this beautiful area, José will keep the culture alive with his handicraft hability, Noelia will always be the gold fingers weaver. All the people here gave us a great lesson of humility.

Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

Claude, march 2017

For me it is the second stay in Patagonia with SOLIECOL. During the first, I had been able to appreciate the Gauchos, landscapes and horses in very good conditions. This year, 24 hours of snow at 2000m altitude showed me, moreover, the gaucho welcome, the solidarity in adversity and the great adaptability of our organizer: thanks Elsilina!

Jean-Christophe, march

Looking for authenticity? Come ! Lina and her Gauchos, Valentin, Ceferino, Alfonse, will make you discover it! Mornings around fire to drink mate while the sun rises… and I speak only of the beginning of the day, imagine the continuation! Thank you for everything !

Suzanne, march 2017

Beautiful landscapes, horses on top, gauchos and gaucha extras and co-adventurers very nice… in short, a great horseride! I spent a week full of twists and turns (wind, snow, sun, hot bath …) and strong emotions. Thank you Elsilina for your great organization and your kindness. Thanks to the Gauchos for everything (preparation of the horses, asados, service), it was great to spend this week with them despite a limited conversation (I think I only said: Ah and Gracias!). Next time, I’m learning Spanish! Thank you all!

Nathalie, march 2017

One of my childhood dreams is realized: Patagonia on horseback!! But I found much more than that, moments of sharing, exchanges, some laughs and many adventures! An unforgettable week at all levels and a great desire to come back for another ride here!

Emilie march 2017

I can say that this horse rinding has been a real adventure at every stage! A human adventure above all but not only. There were so many things happening this week, so many unforseen circumstances that it can’t be resumed in a few sentences. In any case I feel really happy to have took part in this life moment, where nothing was missing. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, this is probably one of my best adventures.

Christophe, march 2017

Beautiful, immense, extraordinary, full of wonderful little moments in my eyes and heart. Thank you.

Axelle, december 2016

I am not leaving yet but I already feel like riding here again… How time flies when it’s pleasant, wonderful, amazing…Anyway, there are so many adjectives to describe this great adventure! I hope that I’ll come back soon, thank you Soliecol!

Josseline, december 2016

First horse ride! Can we do better regarding landscapes, animals: birds, included pink flamengos, goats, sheeps, cows and of course horses ; not to mention people: Noelia and the Gauchos. Thank you for this timeless week, I surprised even myself: first fish fished, vertigo overcame. The beginner almost became a gaucha thanks to Ceferino, José, Juan, Valentin and Juancito. Thank you Elsilina!

Michèle, december 2016
Two weeks horse riding : it’s a dream!!! So much diversity in landscapes, different occupation like fisching, lasso throwing…and all Gauchos are more adorable than each other. The organization is perfect, with fresh vegetables and meat and SUN! It was a birhtday present so I thought about it for a year, I dreamt about it, now I have lived it and soon I’ll keep dreaming thanks to fotos and memories I have. Thank you so much! Muchas gracias !

Marjolein and Rogier, november 2016

Thank you for a wonderful week ! Super horses, beautiful mountains and great company (and don’t forget the food and wine!). We both enjoyed it very much, even Rogier and his painful bum…
It was great to learn about the life of the Gauchos and meeting all of them. Love !

Julie, november 2016

Ride a horse in Patagonia has been a dream for a long time…It came true thanks to Soliecol and it was more than amazing because we were into gauchos’ culture, so unique, so close to nature, based on sharing. Besides wonderful landscapes which will stay in my head forever, great moments around the fire also will. Thank you to José, Ceferino, Juan, Elsilina, Juliàn, Noelia and Everyone! Kiss!

Lucille, april 2016

A wonderful week… It’s so hard to translate so deep feelings! Thanks to Soliecol, thanks to the Gauchos who wonderfully took care of us and delighted us with their humour, joy of life and sensibility. I memorized the landscapes that I saw and my «poupette » (la Mora) is an amazing mare! I hope I’ll see you all again one day!

Marie, april 2016

A unique experience, I don’t find words yet which could reflect what I lived here. A discovery, extraordinary meetings: Gauchos. A beautiful and precious culture, a chance to comprehend it at least once. Thank you and see you soon!

Anne, april 2016

Translate into words the emotions I felt…?! This trip is THE journey I had to undertake. My lifes path brought me here. Beyond South America, Argentina, Patagonia, there is the discovery of a life close to the true human values that are dear to me. I did not think about that when I came. The surprises, the joy of these shared moments have been increased tenfold. I thank you Lina for giving me these intense moments.

Elodie and Marion, april 2016

Thank you Lina for making us live this unforgettable week, discover a country, a culture, your universe. The beauty of places and people made us have a unique stay, a real lesson of life. Thank you for your kindness and dedication, you take so much care of us! Long live the Soliecol! We kiss you all!

Hélène et Jean Pierre, march 2016

From this new stay we will remember new encounters, the star “Tromen” and new gauchos: José, Juancito and all families day by day. Dona Noelia unforgettable, Don Andres and his beautiful little horse. Our courageous criollos took us in furious gallops, in these landscapes that make Patagonia a daydream, to live absolutely!

Muriel, march 2016

2013,2014, I did it well by saying “see you soon” each time! 2016, here I am, not jaded, not tired, ready to do it again, to fullfil my fidelity card! What an improvement in three years, to see already so much projects realized, more and more Gauchos involved, is really great. So, see you in France this summer, I’m waiting for the Domuyo circuit to be ready!

Marie, march 2016

This trip to Argentina was an extraordinary adventure and I can hardly realize that this horse ride is already over… We shared so much with you, Elsilina and all your Gauchos, so kind, endearing and dedicated to others and to their work. These are extraordinary people that I will miss a lot when I return to Europe. Really thank you for all these moments shared and for this great organization! Thank you Elsilina, for your involvement in this beautiful project, I wish you the best for the future, never doubt, you have gold in your hands. Thank you for this dream, I hope we’ll meet very soon, I promise you some chocolate! Besos!

Jean François, march 2016

At first Argentina was a dream. Dream of big spaces, dream of horses, dream of meetings. We are often disappointed when we try to go from dream to reality. But in our case, Argentina and Soliecol were able to go beyond all our expectations. Thanks to the entire team, the gauchos and Elsilina for those moments we will never forget.

Marianne, march 2016

Argentina, I had dreamed it and it was this way: wild, endearing, authentic,… and more. The Gauchos are like those landscapes, wild, endearing and sincere; thank you for all the values we miss so much today in our life! A real magical parenthesis that will surely continue for a long time. Hasta pronto, kisses to the so modest gauchos and of course to you Lina, thank you for what you are and what you do. Good luck!

Manon, february 2016

A big “thank you!” is essential for these great moments we spent together, Lina, Ceferino, Justine, Alizée and me. But more than that, a “bravo” for all the beautiful things you have done here. You follow through on your commitments and try to make things happen. I met two people extremely sincere in their approach. In addition to these immense landscapes and wild nature we have discovered two human beings with a big heart, Ceferino is so touching with its history and its smiles! During this stay, I let myself be carried away in a sort of space-time hole, the time stopped and yet we have traveled campos, mountains, paths of transhumance. My sense of direction was not an asset, nor a problem, I was carried and guided by your energy. Thanks and long live Ceferino and Lina’s Patagonia! Kisses!

Alizée, february 2016

Thank you Lina for this EXTRAORDINARY adventure. I was particularly touched by the kindness and sincerity of the gauchos, especially Ceferino. To share their life, their activities, asados, etc. is the most beautiful of immersions. See you soon for new adventures, full of songs, games, tortas fritas and more! Congratulations for everything you did, it’s great! Viva Soliecol, Viva the Chupilca, viva el Mantecol, viva the empanadas and the Soliecol’s coktail with a lot of Gancia!!!

Justine, february 2016

It’s hard to find the words to talk about this week. Several times a day, I thought it was just that, life. A simple and beautiful life, guided by respect for time, things and animals. I had come partly to disconnect, but I especially feel connected! Congratulations Lina for Soliecol and for all what you do. Thank you for sharing all this with us for a few days. Thank you Ceferino, “President of Patagonia”, for your constant attention, whether with us or the horses, to serve us again as soon as our plate is empty. See you soon!

Fabienne, january 2016

So is life, made of beautiful encounters and parentheses of authenticity… How to put into words such emotion, such feeling? Beautiful landscapes, a perfect organization, excellent horses of course, but beyond all… beautiful encounters.
Thank you my gaucho friends, for sharing with us a slice of your life, your culture, your philosophy. Thank you for what you are, for what you do, be proud of yourself and your tradition. You are great people, never let anyone persuade you to the contrary. Thank you for your generosity, your humility and for this beautiful human adventure. Thank you Lina and congratulations for your project… I hope I’ll see you again soon…

Inès, january 2016

Tears of emotion and joy, I can not find the words… Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Valérie, january 2016

Thank you very much for all your attention. Live with the gauchos? Who has not dreamed it! And here it is done. What a beautiful project that has a purpose: to improve the living conditions of the gauchos.
Thank you also for your kindness and your availability so I have only one thing to say: “Ah! What are we tight at the bottom of this box ?! Sing sardines.” Love!

Virginie, january 2016

A dream became reality and even better than I dreamed! Indescribable emotion!!! Congratulations for your work, your ideas, your sharing. Thank you to your adorable gauchos Ceferino and Valentin-o!
We will have to come back to have another race and bring chocolate! Hasta pronto, thank you from the bottom of my heart and lots of kisses to you!

Magalie, january 2016

What to say about this trip, it is indescribable. It has to be lived to understand this beautiful country. A wonderful journey, magnified by the meeting of such beautiful people as the gauchos. Cefe, José, be proud of what you are, you are wonderful people and it has been an honor to meet you. Lina, I also hope that you can continue for a long time what you do and communicate this desire (or need) to share with many other people.
Thank you for this wonderful journey forever etched in my mind and in my heart.

Katell, janvier 2016

Return of a riding week… This is what a basic tourist would say after a basic week. But this week is anything but normal… Back to basics, the beginning of something else, LIFE, simple, natural, so rich in values, feelings, hope, colors. Thank you simply for being what you are, what you do. Thank you for sharing it with us.
My 4-week trip in Argentina started with you, in the best way, it’s the end of a part of my life, the beginning of another.
Thank you José for your kindness and your presence so discreet. Thank you Ceferino for your smiles and your attentions. Thank you Lina to be there, to be you, to have your convictions that move us.

Breizh Atao!

Lucile, janvier 2016

Thank you, thank you, thank you… x1010000 for this wonderful initiative, this amazing trip, your generosity, the impeccable organization… Thanks to have allowed me to completely disconnect, to have discovered such beautiful landscapes, and especially to have met so beautiful people (and such beautiful horses of course!).
I was on a last-minute trip, without expectations… but now I feel changed, full of good resolutions for 2016, with the pleasure of sharing, the desire to live in a more responsible way, the duty to be always very curious and meet so many other beautiful people, and always see the glass half full, as shown by the example of gauchos.
Thank you to Lina, Don José de la Vega and Ceferino, and to all the families who have allowed this beautiful project to be born and to continue. See you soon!

Noelle et Didier, january 2016

The words are too weak to express what Noëlle and I feel after this incredible week! Patagonia on horseback… Noëlle’s dream has become real but far beyond our expectations! In addition to the physical test (we had not ridden since 30 and 40 years respectively! and we had not slept under tent since our scout camps…), it is the richness of this human adventure that will remain forever engraved in our memories… and in our hearts!
Lina, in her role as “Pack Leader”, is irreproachable. Everything is organized in the minutest detail, her smile and her kindness open the doors of gauchos and she always has a little attention (coca, apple …) to make us aware of the importance of these little moments of happiness too rare in our daily life in France.
José and Ceferino complete this perfect trio! Smiling, humble, efficient, kind, considerate, courageous, gallant, forward-thinking… are just some of the qualities that characterize them and make them two exceptional beings far above many people we are used to meet.
Katell, Lucile and Magali with their good mood have also helped to live this week IN PARADISE!
Thanks again!

A bientôt  !

Claire, avril 2014

¡Y gracias a don Demetrio!

Besos
